You have 2 ways :

* you install the .deb file from the update 4 thanks to this tuto : http://hackstor.blogspot.com/2010/02/install-deb-file.html

OR

* you install first the deb just under the first update and then you SSH your iPhone with WinSCP (this one I use) and put the DYLIB file like written in the tuto

Dont use.It make Freez my IP 3gs.

Its rotate then Freez my 3gs even im on default theme+disable all the five rows,five colum,infine boar,reptmem etc etc.its dangerous for ur device.Very difficult to comeout from Freez.Pls.update again and Recheck 100 times before release.Thank

hey buddy, thanx alot for the app, works like a charm although I have a few issues such as sending sms or even web navigation through safari... anyways, was wondering how we could have a clean uninstall...also, the app doesn't seem to show in my settings menu although it does work when I rotate my phone, possibly because the installation wasn't that clean. its working fine everyone... just dont understand why some are complaining this and that...
you want to try, try at your own risk. the first time i use it and its working fine.. i really like to understand how those people crash their 3gs or how does the freeze come from?

For those of you who are stuck in passcode / respring loops or at the Apple boot logo, you should still be able to connect the phone to your computer via USB and SSH into it (If you're stuck at the boot screen you'll have to wait until the phone vibrates, indicating that it's booted up). Once you're in, launch a terminal window and type in the following:

touch /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.saurik.mobilesubstrate.dat

The above line invokes Safe Mode after a few moments. Once in Safe Mode, you should be able to uninstall SBRotator via Cydia. And if you need to respring manually as well, type in:

launchctl stop com.apple.SpringBoard

If you can't get into Safe Mode but CAN still SSH into the phone, try opening a sftp window and navigate to:

/Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries

Delete this file:

SBRotator.dylib

After a minute the phone should respring normally and you'll find yourself at a functioning Passcode screen or the SpringBoard. Uninstall SBRotator via Cydia.

I don't know how to uninstall SBRotator or any other .deb packages manually via Terminal so if anyone knows please post a how-to. I've had both of these situations happen to me on versions 1.3.6 and 1.5-7. 1.5-3 seems to work fine.

I have no idea why but it switches my sound off. When I have it installed the phone is silent. Vibro only.

Iphone 3g FW 4.0 here and after installation of SBRotator my device looses its sound like the above person! Also the SB toggle switch for this was not working as well. Sound returned after uninstalling both the toggle switch for SBSettings and SBRotator. Any Ideas on whats goin on here?

I can't uninstall, I need to uninstall because if I turn it on my icons get out of the folder and placed all over the desktop, and my youtube on portrait shows as landscape so I can't see everything, Anyone have a fix on how to manually uninstall completely? I tried installing the full version but it still won't let me uninstall..

I can't access the settings of SBRotator, I think that doesn't work with 4.2.1.
Is the Infinidock the problem?

Just an FYI, I installed the v1.62 manually via mobileterminal:

I received these errors:

infinidock is present and installed

Errors encountered while processing sbrotator

in my 3gs 4.3.3 works fine but turn of and freezing only logo aple dont recognize for ifunbox or itunes then here is the solution:

1.-put your device on mode recovery and then turn off only with power buton no push the home boton
turn off
vuala comes back to me uffff::::::::::::::::))))))))))
