I've done the remove BigBoss and reinstall thing, that doesn't work on the 3GS with iOS4 installed. It keeps coming back as if you've installed the BigBoss version.

I have installed the cracked 4.98 but this does not work. When replying to a message the keyboard appears for a brief moment and then disappear, you can't type a reply. I have tried reinstalling again a couple of time to no avail (3G on iOS4).

To fix the keyboard bug, open edit then close edit before replying and the keyboard will stay up. Not sure why this works but it does.

Was working fine but recently i FOund out I couldn't log in to Facebook. After uninstalling Bitesms, Facebook was working fine. Tried installing Bitesms again but the same problem occured; couldn't log in to Facebook. Does anyone knows how to fix this :-(

This is the method I used. Copy and pasted from the website I mentioned. I'm not sure if I am allowed to state other websites on here so I am not but I'm sure if you search for it you'll it. Anyhow this is the method I used along with a link for the "patch". Oh point to note this version (4.98) will give issues with the new version of FB but that site I mention has a work around for that. So you can either use that work around OR wait for the cracked version of 4.99 which fixes the issues

4.98 cracked also had an issue with keyboard disappearing for me on 3GS IOS 4.01 Jail Broken with jailbreakme.

Im having the same issue. It works but when I send a msg from inside Bitesms it exits to the home screen. Still sends msg in background. Just annoying if I need to send more then 1 SMS. I'm using iPhone 4 on 4.2.1

don't think it's fully 4.2.1 compliant. using iphone 4, running on 4.2.1. like the above comment says, bitesms closes and exits to the homescreen upon sending a message. message gets through though. it's just annoying if you're not sending a one-off reply and would like to stay in the conversation box. don't think it's because of other apps too because it was fine when i was running iOS 4.1. i tested using bitesms 5.0 and it doesnt have this problem. please fix this asap !

Soooo cofusing just someone tellme the following. 1. i have a JB 3g 4.0 iphone. 2. Now which is the most stable version of biteSMS to install? 3. I have iFile on my windos 7 comp. So do i need it also on the iphone? 4. Should i just take the .deb file and put it in my comp ifile (in the auto intall of cydia) and do i shutdown restart to install it? 5. This latest 5.3 has a white icon after the install/respring/reboot.
When I open the app it takes me to the txt app without the bitesms setting option on top right corner.
basically didn't work on my IOS4.2.1
i reverted back to 5.2 and now i have to redo all the activate/templates etc

Placing the deb file in the var/root/media/Cydia/AutoInstall/ and reboot it work perfectly. It works on ios 4.3.3 bite sms5.3

I noticed if you hold the send button down while in a conversation, it switches from blue to pink; no credits left. If you hold "send" down again, it goes back to normal(blue) and you can use it!
